My favourite league game at the old ground, was in the North Bank right next to their fans, atmosphere was electric.

Dicks wasn't playing, so Hartson was the penalty taker but he handed the ball to Kitson.
No way would Dicks have done that.

I was stood right behind that, and everyone was cheering and giving out wanker signs when he initially lobbed the ball. Then the wind wind caught it and blew it in. Fuming.

Wind howling and the rain was lashing down. Atmosphere was electric. Just a proper game of football. Don't make 'em like that anymore.

Great night. Pretty sure Anderton's lob was going wide until the wind caught it.

One of my favourite games. Hammering down, windy as fuck. Hartson & Kitson just signed. Was up in the West stand, good times.

Yes it was I remember the Everton game , Kitson scored 2 and we a penalty , must of Dicks idea, but Kitson took the penalty for his hat trick and missed.
Last minute Ferguson scored to equalize and a bloke sitting the near us started smashing his seat up . It can be heard on the 96/97 season DVD

Remember watching that on Sky. Was the start of the great escape wasn't it with Hartson and Kitson banging them in. Loved the way Hartson bullied Campbell with that header, what a player, pity he couldn't keep it going long term.
I think David Howells played just after finding out his father had passed away and felt for him considering I rarely feel sympathy for any Tottenham players!!!!
